Kevin Maston, a master plumber turned visionary entrepreneur, is the heart and soul behind CK Mechanical Plumbing and Heating Inc., one of Casper, Wyoming’s most trusted and celebrated businesses.

In 2004, with just $1,500 and a relentless drive, he founded CK Mechanical from his garage, knocking on doors with nothing but a handshake and a promise of quality. What began as a one-man operation was grown into a regional powerhouse, acquiring several companies and earning a reputation as a leader in plumbing and HVAC services across Wyoming.

Kevin’s ambition was never just about building a business—it was about building a legacy. His company’s accolades speak volumes: CK Mechanical was named the “2013 Best Contractor To Work For” by Plumbing & Mechanical magazine, a testament to his belief that employees and customers are family. In 2010, the Casper Star-Tribune recognized him in its “20 Under Forty” list, spotlighting his leadership and community spirit— and many efforts of giving back Under his guidance, CK Mechanical also clinched the local paper’s Readers’ Choice Award for Best Plumbing Company for five consecutive years proving that his commitment to excellence resonates far and wide.

Kevin was recognized by Citibank for the 2018-2019 hiring our heroes award for his work with veterans. Additionally his company was gifted a flag from “Operation Inherent resolve” from the Wyoming Notional Guard for his efforts in helping our troops while on deployment.

Kevin’s mission has always been to change the perception of plumbing from a punchline to a profession of pride. That ethos drove his company’s culture. Kevin’s hands-on approach ensures every job reflects his high standards.

A family man at heart, Kevin sees his employees, customers, and community as an extended clan. His CK Community of Caring program donated to local nonprofits, and for the duration of his tenure was known for the little things like providing turkeys for his staff’s Thanksgiving tables—a gesture as generous as it is heartfelt. Despite personal challenges, like a publicized divorce, Kevin remains resilient, owning his mistakes and rising stronger, much like the stoic plumber he embodies online.

Today, Kevin Maston stands as a a leader who’s turned a humble trade into a symbol of trust, humor, and compassion. Whether he’s bantering about frozen pipes on X or ensuring a family stays warm through a Wyoming winter, Kevin’s story is one of grit, grace, and an unshakable connection to the place he calls home
